Former sports director of KB Peja, Arbër Elshani, and the former captain of the Peja team, Arti Hajdari, were involved in a serious accident on Wednesday evening.
Arbër Elshani himself announced the news on Facebook, explaining the incident in more detail, stating, “Thank God we only sustained bodily injuries.”
“Arti and I had a very serious accident on Wednesday evening, but thank God we only sustained bodily injuries. We were fully adhering to traffic rules, but suddenly a car came into our lane at a very high speed and we couldn’t avoid the accident. The important thing for us is that we survived,” wrote Elshani.
Furthermore, the former sports director of Peja mentioned that one of the injured individuals is in a more severe condition.
“They both survived, but one of them is in a slightly more serious condition, and I hope he recovers as soon as possible. Nothing is more valuable than life, neither the car nor anything else. We thank God for saving us. I am very grateful for all the countless messages you have sent me. I am honored to have so many friends and companions,” said Elshani.
