The California team clinched the win with a five-point difference, securing a 123-118 victory in a game that was closely contested from start to finish.

LeBron James was instrumental in the Lakers’ victory, with the American veteran scoring 30 points, along with seven rebounds and nine assists.

Contributing to the winning team’s strong performance were Anthony Davis with a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds, while D’Angelo Russell added another 22 points.

French talent Victor Wembanyama was the most effective player for the visitors with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, but it wasn’t enough in the end for a win.

The Lakers’ next game will be on the road against the Phoenix Suns, while the Spurs will play away from home again, this time against the Utah Jazz.
