Cristiano Ronaldo has now entered the final phase of his legal battle with Juventus over €19.5 million in suspected unpaid wages. The Portuguese star has been in a legal dispute with the Bianconeri since last September when he instructed his lawyers to take legal action against the Italian club regarding around €19.5 million in wages suspected to be unpaid to him. These wages date back to Juventus’ salary cut measures in 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic. When Ronaldo left Turin for Manchester United in August 2021, part of his agreed departure was an unsigned document confirming that the Old Lady did not owe him anything, according to reports from Italian media. However, this matter is not yet entirely settled.According to “Tuttosport,” Ronaldo and his lawyers have brought the issue to the Arbitration Panel and are awaiting a response. A decision is said to be made early next week or at the latest by April 22nd.It’s worth noting that Juventus has always stated that the claims of the 39-year-old are unfounded.
