Former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has hinted that he will work “anywhere” as he seeks a return to management this summer following his departure from Roma. Mourinho was sacked by the Giallorossi in January, but he has now confirmed that he would like to return to work this summer and has refused to rule out the possibility of taking over the Portuguese club, having left his hometown in 2004 to manage Chelsea. Since the beginning of his coaching career at Benfica, Mourinho has never been without a job for more than a year. Of course, during his time in Portugal, he led Porto to two league titles, as well as triumphs in the UEFA Cup and the Champions League.When asked about the possibility of taking over the Portuguese national team, Mourinho told reporters while attending the Portuguese Grand Prix in MotoGP: “Zero news. I don’t have a club, I am free. But I want to work, in the summer.” He added: “Never say never, especially in football. Football is my life. I can work anywhere and I have no problem.” It remains to be seen where he will end up, but the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager is likely to be in high demand once again.
