Viktor Kolar, the agent of Fikayo Tomori, has issued a warning to Milan following interest from Bayern Munich, highlighting his client’s potential to make a forward step. The English center-back was one of the heroes of Milan’s Scudetto-winning season in 2021/22 and has continued to be a key player for the team in the Lombardy capital, despite being hampered by injuries this season. Tomori missed nine consecutive Serie A games this season due to a muscle injury but is nearing full fitness, having started in Milan’s 1:0 victory over Empoli last weekend. His absence was notably felt in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium. Speaking through “Calciomercato.com,” Kolar discussed Tomori’s future and his current standing in Milan. “He is loyal and does not want to leave Milan, especially since the club has not been performing very well this season. Milan is a very good club, but Tomori has the potential to take a step forward in the future. If he is physically fit, he will be an absolutely sought-after defender everywhere,” Kolar said. During the January transfer window, Bayern Munich reportedly inquired about Tomori, but Milan’s response was clear; the defender was not for sale. Daniele Longo of “Calciomercato.com” highlighted that Tomori is on the list of the German giant ahead of the summer transfer window, but he is not considered a priority at this stage. The Rossoneri are not interested in selling the 26-year-old Englishman but would be willing to consider offers over 30 million euros. He is under contract with the club until June 2027.
