Manchester United defeated Liverpool 4:3 in extra time to advance to the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday. United broke the deadlock with Scott McTominay in the 10th minute, but Liverpool equalized through Alexis Mac Allister in the 44th minute at Old Trafford.
Three minutes later, the Reds took the lead when Mohamed Salah finished from close range. Antony scored from the penalty spot to equalize in the 87th minute. After a 2:2 draw, the match went into extra time.
Liverpool again took the lead in the 105th minute through Harvey Elliott. Marcus Rashford scored a goal to make it 3:3 in the 112th minute. In a counterattack, Amad Diallo netted in the added time of extra time to send the “Red Devils” to the semi-finals.
The 21-year-old forward received a red card after picking up a second yellow for removing his shirt to celebrate. Manchester United will face Coventry City, while Manchester City will play Chelsea in the semi-finals.
