The Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, returned to the Al-Nassr team after serving a suspension and played in the loss against Al-Ain in the Asian Champions League.
Al-Nassr suffered a 1:0 defeat as visitors in the United Arab Emirates in the first leg of the Asian Champions League quarterfinal.
The home fans tried to provoke Ronaldo, chanting “Messi” throughout the match, but the Portuguese took the lesson, stayed cool, and did not fall for the provocations. Cristiano made five shots at the opponent’s goal but did not end up among the scorers.
However, the 39-year-old Portuguese ended up going viral on social media due to an attempt at dribbling. At one point, Ronaldo tried some dribbles and completely lost track of where the ball was, before the opponents took it away and he fell down.
Meanwhile, the club from the United Arab Emirates celebrated with a goal from Soufiane Rahimi in the 44th minute, and the Saudi team will try to make up for that deficit in the return match next week.
