Chelsea played to a 2-2 draw away against Brentford in the 27th round of the English football elite.
The first half ended with a minimal advantage of 1-0 for the visitors, although Brentford also had a good scoring opportunity.
The hosts first threatened through Yoane Wissa (26’) who missed a golden opportunity to give Brentford the lead.
Chelsea took the lead in the 35th minute, when after a fantastic cross from Malo Gusto, Nicolas Jackson scored with a header for 0-1.
Brentford responded in the second half, equalizing the score at 1-1 through Mads Roerslev Rasmussen, who was in the right place at the right time to send the ball into the net.
It was also Wissa (69’) who scored for 2-1 with a spectacular acrobatic action, giving his team the lead with a scissors kick.
The “Blues” from London reacted by equalizing the score at 2-2 with Alex Disasi (83’), who headed in for 2-2 following a cross from Cole Palmer.
No further changes in the score occurred until the end of the match, and both teams had to settle for a point.
Chelsea now has 36 points and is positioned in tenth place in the league table, while in the next round they will host Newcastle.
