Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has expressed his anger in today’s press conference, demanding that Fulham apologize to Bruno Fernandes for their TikTok post.
The Premier League rival posted a video on social media from their recent match against the Red Devils focusing on the Portuguese footballer.
Fernandes simulated a foul during an action in the match against Fulham, rolling around in “pain” and asking for a penalty kick, then miraculously recovered when the ball was back in his team’s possession.
The Craven Cottage club posted the footage with the caption: “So happy he’s okay”.
Ten Hag defended his player and demanded an apology from Fulham, something that seems unlikely to happen.
“It’s absolutely wrong for the club to publish something like that, completely wrong. They should apologize for this,” Ten Hag said, describing Fernandes as a passionate footballer.
Fulham defeated United 2-1 in the last round of the Premier League.
